You have a point, Jamie - but I agree with TC, we get what we deserve.
IMO this whole, "I'm the electable one!" is just BS - that any
candidate would even run on that position is insulting, and any voting
block that would vote on that position is equally misguided.
McCain is as much a career politician as Hillary - he's held office
now for 20 some odd years, and in that time what legislation has he
introduced that didn't run counter to the ideas of his base or IMO
pander to the left? He's as "conservative" as the endorsements by the
NY Times and Schwarzenegger.
It's not about McCain vs Clinton vs Obama, it's about wanting to put
some conservative values back in the country; while they may share
different tents, all three of them are IMO in the same Camp Liberal.
