Well, first of all, the rally was at 7:45 am, when many people are on
their way to work or just don't want to get out in the cold that early
in the morning. Secondly, it was held at a branch of a larger
university and, while an excellent school, not too well known
nationally. Also, I can't see anyone driving over from St. Louis (20
miles away) to Edwardsville just to hear another stump speech that we've
all heard portions of on TV for the past few months. And, lastly, this
town is like 90% Democratic, and overwhelmingly for Obama, so I'm not
sure many of the residents would be interested in hearing a tired, aging
former president, especially the way he's been behaving lately.

I was tempted to attend but decided not to. I just didn't like Bill's
dirty politics of late.
